Brief: To produce a publication for the Royal Institute of Philosophy, titled 'Past & Present: Philosophy for everyone', using given transcripts, contents and biography information.
Solution: Play on the notion of time. To understand Philosophy to a deeper extent, we must be able to see the wealth of knowlege in the 'Past' as well as the 'Present'. The tracing paper is a way for the audience to play with time and see how understanding the two can make a whole.
Using bright colours like Magenta shows the outlandish, radical nature Philosophy can occasionally take, whereas the Azure Blue creates a more calm and considered feel which is also very important within the subject. Typeset whole publication in ShZapfRenaisAnt Bold/book/italic and Aksidenz Grotesk Medium/Bold.
(Below) I also created a poster that supported the publication.
